Requirements for Going to Uzbekistan and Visa Application Procedures

Uzbekistan, one of the seven independent Turkic states, officially the Republic of Uzbekistan, is a Central Asian country located between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. Except for those who are exempt from visas, foreign nationals traveling to Uzbekistan must obtain a visa from Uzbek consulates or via the e-visa application platform.

The Republic of Uzbekistan is among the countries that do not require visas from Turkish citizens. All Turkish citizens holding ordinary, special, service and diplomatic passports are exempt from visas for 1 month for their travels to Uzbekistan.

Citizens who travel to Uzbekistan for tourism, business or family visits for a maximum of 30 days do not need a visa. Those who wish to stay in the country for more than 30 days must apply to Uzbekistan’s foreign missions or via  e-visa.gov.uz to obtain a visa.

Visa-free Entry Requirements to Uzbekistan
