    Croatian business visa is a short-term C visa category visa type that is required to travel to Croatia for a certain period of time in order to carry out business activities, congresses, conferences, projects or seminars through the company to which the person is affiliated.

    Croatian business visa is granted for a maximum of 5 years and allows a maximum of 90 days in Croatia within 180 days. Croatia visa applications can be made through VFS Global.

    Foreign nationals with short-term business visas cannot work within the borders of the Republic of Croatia.

    How to Apply for a Croatia Business Visa?

    For Croatia business visa applications, the visa application form must be filled out online at crovisa.mvep.hr, and after the filled form and other required documents are prepared in accordance with the required conditions, an appointment must be made through VFS Global.

    When the appointment date for the Croatia business visa application comes, you must go to the selected VFS Global center with the necessary documents, submit the necessary documents and pay the application fee.

    What are the Croatia Business Visa Documents?

    Croatia business visa documents are listed below:

    • Croatia business visa application form : https://crovisa.mvep.hr/ must be filled out online by the applicant, printed out and signed where necessary. For minors, it must be signed by their parent or legal guardian.
    • Passport : Must have at least 2 blank visa pages, be issued within the last 10 years and be valid for at least 3 months after the planned return date from Croatia.
    • Passport photocopy : All processed pages of the valid passport and photocopies of old passports, including the identity information, visa and stamp pages, if any. Photocopies of old Schengen, UK, Ireland, Japan, USA and Canada visas, if any, must be submitted.
    • Biometric photo : 2 photographs, 35 mm x 45 mm in size, in color, with a white background, not older than 6 months, must be submitted. The photographs to be submitted must have a natural facial expression, a neutral facial expression with eyes open and mouth closed, and in photographs where the head is covered for religious or political reasons, the cheeks, chin and forehead must be visible.
    • Travel health insurance : To cover the costs of repatriation, emergency medical care or hospital care for health reasons, it must be insured for a minimum of EUR 30,000 and valid for the duration of the stay in Croatia. For those applying for a multiple entry visa, it must cover the first period of their visit to Croatia and a travel health insurance declaration must be filled out for subsequent visits.
    • Travel reservation : A purchased reservation or itinerary that includes the entire travel process must be submitted. The reservation dates must match the round trip dates of the trip.
    • Flight reservation or proof of transportation : Documents proving transportation such as round-trip flight reservation or vehicle registration, driver's license, vehicle insurance/green card, bus ticket must be presented.
    • Documents proving financial situation : Documents containing income documents showing how the applicant will cover his/her expenses during the trip, including bank statement showing the last three months of account movements, bank-certified document showing the account balance, title deeds, rental contracts, vehicle registration documents or documents of the person providing financial support must be presented. The daily amount required per person for the duration of the trip is at least 70 Euros or another equivalent currency. If the applicant has a certified letter of guarantee, the daily amount required for the duration of the trip in Croatia is 30 Euros. If the person's expenses will be covered by the guarantor for the entire duration of the trip as of the entry to Croatia and there is a letter of guarantee stating this, it is not mandatory to present documents showing how the applicant's expenses will be covered.
    • Additional documents required for Croatian business visa : If the applicant is an employee; a permission document signed and stamped by the employer, written on letterhead with address and phone number visible, last 3 months' salary slip, SGK employment declaration and service record must be presented with barcode or wet signature-stamped. If the applicant is a company owner; the company's signature circular, chamber of commerce registration, trade registry gazette and tax plate. If the applicant is a farmer; must have a farmer's certificate from the Chamber of Agriculture. If the applicant is a driver; a company guarantee letter and a guarantee letter issued by UND if the applicant is a member of the company, a list of drivers/employees, C2 document, international driver's license, invitation letter from the company in Croatia or business partnership document and old and current CMR records indicating the TIR number must be presented. If the applicant will participate in the fair, there must be a fair entrance card or a document related to participation. For third country citizens, a photocopy of the residence card of foreign country, i.e. a residence document.
