    • The photo must not be older than 6 months.
    • Photo width should be 35-40 mm and the person's face should cover 70%-80% of the photo.
    • It should be high quality, sharply focused; the photo should have appropriate brightness and contrast, and should not have any ink marks or wrinkles.
    • The person must look directly at the camera and their skin tone must be shown naturally, without any manipulation of the photo.
    • The photo must be in neutral colors.
    • The person's eyes must be open and able to see clearly, and there should be no hair in front of the eyes.
    • The person should position their face directly towards the camera, not looking at the lens from over one shoulder or slanting.
    • A light colored background should be used where the face will appear clearly.
    • The photo should be taken with uniform lighting. There should be no shadows or flash reflections on the person's face, and the eyes should not appear red.
    • If the person taking the photo is wearing glasses; there should be no flash reflection from the glasses, the biometric photo should be taken without colored lenses so that the person's eye color is clearly visible. If possible, heavy and thick-framed glasses should not be preferred, it is recommended to use glasses with lighter frames.
    • The use of headscarves is not permitted except for religious reasons. During the photographing of people wearing headscarves, the facial features from the bottom of the chin to the top of the forehead must be clearly shown in a way that both sides of the face look the same.
    • The lens should be looked at with a closed mouth and a neutral expression.

    Can I Wear Glasses in My France Visa Photo?

    The France visa photo may include glasses, but this is allowed because the applicant normally wears glasses.

    There should be no flash reflection on the glasses in the photo and the eyes should be clearly visible in the photo without using colored lenses. The glasses frame should be as light as possible and should not cover any part of the eye.
