    How to Get a Germany Visa from Turkey for Azerbaijani Citizens?

    After Azerbaijani citizens have prepared the necessary documents to obtain a Germany visa from Turkey, they must make an appointment with the Idata intermediary institution. After the passport, necessary documents and fingerprints are submitted on the appointment day, the evaluation process is initiated. The Germany visa application is sent to the authorized German foreign missions. After the application process is completed, the original passport and documents are delivered to the applicant.

    What are the Required Germany Visa Documents for Azerbaijani Citizens?

    Required Germany visa documents for Azerbaijani citizens are given below.

    • Passport : Must be issued within the last 10 years, have at least 2 blank pages and be valid for at least 3 months beyond the date of travel to Germany.
    • Germany visa application form : All sections in the application form must be completed completely and the applicant must sign it.
    • Biometric photo : A photograph that complies with biometric features, taken at most 6 months ago, 35 mm wide and 45 mm high is required.
    • Germany travel health insurance : Health insurance with a coverage of at least 30,000 Euros, valid in all Schengen countries and covering all kinds of situations is required.
    • Visa fee : Payment must be made at the Idata intermediary institution offices and a receipt must be obtained.
    • Accommodation documents : Documents regarding accommodation during the trip must be submitted.
    • Bank account statement : If available, a bank account statement in Turkey or in Azerbaijan must be submitted for the last 3 months.
    • Original copy of population registration record : A fully documented population registration record copy that can be obtained from e-government must be submitted.
    • Work and permit documents : The work and permit document that the applicant will receive from the institution where he/she works must include a description of the person's work, the date range of the travel to be made must be added, and must be presented with a wet signature and stamp.
    • Payslips : Payslips covering the last 3 months must be submitted with stamp and signature.
    • Additional income documents : Documents containing income such as vehicle license, title deed, rental income must be submitted.
    • Residence permit in Turkey : Azerbaijani citizens who will apply from Turkey must have a Turkish residence permit.

    Thanks to the visa facilitation agreement signed between the European Union and Azerbaijan, Germany visa facilitation has been provided and the required documents during application have been reduced.

    In Which Cases Are Azerbaijani Citizens Not Granted a Germany Visa?

    Situations where Azerbaijani citizens are not granted a Germany visa are listed below.

    • Azerbaijani citizens who come to Turkey temporarily for tourism, business, commercial relations or private reasons but request a Germany visa from Istanbul in order not to return to Azerbaijan will not be granted a Germany visa.
    • Azerbaijani citizens who have been residing in Turkey for a short time, who cannot prove that they have a stable financial income or a professional job, who have not been approved, or who want their conditions in Azerbaijan to be evaluated with foreign documents are not granted a Germany visa.
    • Azerbaijani students who are temporarily in Turkey for educational purposes, who do not reside in the same country as their family members, and who submit private or official foreign documents for which no approval procedures have been carried out on behalf of their family members, will not be granted a Germany visa.

    Azerbaijani citizens who enter Germany illegally are deported if they are caught illegally in Germany.
