Motivation Letter : A motivation letter written in English or German is required, in the form of 2 printouts, explaining the traveler's expectations from the working holiday program and why they want to participate in this program.
Application form : 2 copies and a barcoded computer printout are required.
Passport : Must have at least 2 blank pages and be valid for more than 3 months.
Passport photocopy : A 2-page printout of the personal information page in the passport is required.
Residence permit : If the person is not a citizen of the country where the application is made, he/she must present a valid residence permit in that country.
Germany working holiday visa : 2 printouts of the German visa are required.
Biometric photo : 2 biometric photos, 35 mm wide and 45 mm long, not older than 3 months, are required. Digitally renewed passport photos are not valid.
Financial Adequacy Document : A financial adequacy document covering the living expenses of the first 3 months spent in Germany is required. The monthly equivalent is equivalent to €861. In addition, proof of sufficient resources for return from the country may be requested depending on the general financial situation. Accepted financial documents must have an equivalent of at least €2,583 in a German bank opened in the person's name for 3 months.
