    The Hungarian driver's visa is a type of visa that allows you to transport cargo or passengers in Hungary, a Schengen country.

    Citizens of the Republic of Turkey and foreign nationals who have a residence permit in Turkey for at least 3 months from the date of return must obtain a Hungarian visa to visit Hungary. The Schengen visa allows you to stay in the Schengen area for a maximum of 90 days in every 6-month period.

    The Hungarian driver's visa is a short-term (C type) visa. The driver's visa can be issued for up to 5 years, but allows visa holders to stay in Hungary and other Schengen countries for a maximum of 90 days within a 180-day period.

    Passports of those applying for a visa must be valid for at least 90 days from the date of return.

    What are the Required Documents for a Hungary Driver Visa?

    The documents required to apply for a Hungary visa are as listed.

    • Hungary visa application form : The Hungary driver visa application form must be filled out completely.
    • Biometric photo : In order to apply for a Hungarian driver's visa, 2 biometric photos, 35 mm x 45 mm in size, taken within the last 3 months, must be kept in the application file.
    • Passport : In order to apply for a Hungary driver's visa, a passport issued within the last 10 years and a photocopy of a US, UK or Schengen visa issued within the last three years are also required.
    • A photocopy of the identity card : A photocopy of the person's identity card is required.
    • Marriage certificate photocopy : If the person is married, a photocopy of the marriage certificate is required.
    • Hungary travel health insurance policy : The policy coverage must be at least €30,000, and the insurance document must be signed and stamped.
    • Employer's permission letter : The employer's permission letter and the employee's pay slip for the last 3 months must be signed and stamped. The petition can be written in Hungarian, English or Turkish.
    • Company documents : The last 6 months Activity Certificate, Trade Registry Gazette, Current Tax Certificate, Signature Circular, if the company is a member, the UND Warranty Certificate of the company, List of Company Drivers and List of Payments for the Driver must be added to the application file.
    • Bank account statement : The document must be received from the bank at least 1 week before the application date and must show the last three months' movements in the account and must have the signature and stamp of the teller officer at the bank.
    • Residence document : A valid residence document obtained through e-government must be in hand.
    • Sponsorship letter : This letter should explain who will cover the visa applicant's travel expenses. If the expenses will be covered by a family member of the applicant, the relationship must be proven.
    • Social Security (SGK) Registration document : SGK Registration and Service Statement must be obtained. It can be obtained via e-Government.
    • Social Security (SGK) barcoded service statement : 4A Service Statement showing the last 6 months must be obtained. It can be obtained via e-Government.
    • Driver's license : The driver's national and international driving license.
    • C2 Certificate (import permit) : A certificate showing authorization for international and domestic goods transportation must be obtained.
    • Business partnership certificate or invitation from a company in the EU : Invitations must include the e-mail address of the person, company or organization sending the invitation letter.

    Dozvola is a document used in road transport that grants trucks the right to transit across country borders. Each country has its own dozvola and is only valid within the borders of that country.

    In order for trucks that will pass from Turkey to Hungary to have the right of passage, it is necessary to obtain a UND (International Freight Forwarders Association) Hungarian Dozvola. In the Dozvola example, the date and place of receipt of the document should be written next to the Chamber of Commerce stamp on the document, TIR entry and exit information should be given, and the vehicle's license plate and loading and unloading locations should be filled in the relevant blanks in detail.
