The Irish C type trainee visa is a type of visa that allows the applicant to work in any internship related to their previous work in Ireland (if they currently have an Irish work permit), whether paid or unpaid. The Irish C type trainee visa allows a maximum stay of 90 days within the borders of Ireland. It is recommended to apply for the Irish C type trainee visa at least 3 months before the estimated time of departure to Ireland.

- Financial status: A detailed report prepared by the bank showing the money that has come and gone into the applicant's bank account in the last 6 months. (Even if the applicant for an Irish Type C intern visa is not paying for the trip himself/herself, he/she must include this report among the application documents.)
- Student certificate: A letter clarifying the following issues must be received from the university in Turkey where the Irish C type internship visa applicant is studying.
- Which department the student is studying in, how many years has he/she been a student at the university, and if there was a period when he/she left/stayed away from the university, how long this period lasted,
- The internship in Ireland is in line with the natural flow of the student's education,
- Who will cover the student's travel, accommodation and living expenses?
- If the organization in Ireland where the internship will be done has a connection with the university, the context in which this connection exists must be explained.
- When the university wants and expects its student to return.
- Internship invitation: An invitation letter from the institution in Ireland where the internship will take place, addressing the following items.
- Details of the internship and how long it will last,
- Whether or not assistance will be provided for the intern's travel, living and accommodation expenses, and if so, details of the assistance,
- Explanation of the connection between the intern's university and the institution where the internship will take place.
- Criminal record: If the internship involves working with children under the age of 18 or vulnerable people, the internship institution must apply to the Irish police for an investigation and obtain a report from the police of the intern's country of origin stating that the intern's criminal record is clear.
- Ireland travel health insurance: Although it is not included among the Irish C type trainee visa application documents, it may be requested to be checked by the visa officer.
- Documents of affiliation with Turkey: An assurance that the Irish C type trainee visa holder will return to Turkey at the end of the visa period:
- If you are working in Turkey, in addition to the last 3 pay slips, the employer must write a letter explaining the following items:
- How long has the specified job been worked for,
- If work was interrupted, how long it was interrupted,
- When to return to work.
- If the Irish C type trainee visa applicant is a student in Turkey, his/her university will:

- Past visa refusals: Original letters informing you of past visa refusals, other immigration issues (deportation, visa overstay, etc.), and convictions.
How to Apply for an Irish Short-Term (Type C) Work Visa?
Apply for an Irish short-term (C type) work visa by following the steps below:
- First, an Irish short-term work permit is obtained from the website inisonline.jahs.ie. If an Irish short-term work permit is not obtained, an Irish short-term work visa cannot be applied for.
- A “C” type Irish work visa application is made by following the necessary steps via the AVATS system at https://www.visas.inis.gov.ie. The requested information for the Irish work permit obtained in step 1 is entered into the AVATS system.
- Once the online application for the Ireland short-term work visa is completed, the documents required for the Ireland short-term work visa application are forwarded to the intermediary institution along with the passport after the visa fee is paid.
