Where to Fill Sri Lanka Visa Application Form?
You need to fill out the Sri Lanka visa application form differently depending on the visa type.
For short-term and transit Sri Lanka visa applications, you must fill out the application form online on the website created by the Sri Lanka Immigration Department for ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization).
For a Sri Lanka long-term visa or entry visa, you must download the visa application form from the Sri Lanka Immigration Department's website and fill it out by hand or on a computer.
Short Term Sri Lanka Visa Application Form
You must fill out the Sri Lanka transit and short-term or ETA visa application form online, hand-filled or computer-filled forms will not be accepted.

You can fill out the short-term Sri Lanka visa application form by following the steps below.
- Log in to the relevant website of the Sri Lanka Immigration Department.
- Select “Apply” from the top menu.
- At the bottom of the page that opens, click on the Accept application terms option.
- From the menu on the left of the page, select the option that best suits your travel purpose from the "Tourist ETA" or "Business Purpose ETA" visa type.
- If you are going to Sri Lanka for touristic purposes such as holiday, treatment, visiting relatives and friends, or participating in cultural and sporting events, choose “Tourist ETA”.
- If you are traveling to Sri Lanka for a business meeting, congress, business training, fair or seminar, or for a work-related project or corporate event, or for professional training lasting less than 1 month, choose “Business Purpose ETA”.
- If you need to pass through Sri Lankan territory on your way to another destination, select “Transit ETA”.
- If you are applying for yourself, select “Apply for an Individual”; if your application will be made by a representative, select “Apply for a Third Party”.
- Enter your ID and passport information.
- If you are traveling with your children, enter their information.
- Specify your travel purpose and enter information regarding your travel duration.
- Enter your contact information including address and phone number and answer 3 questions regarding your Sri Lanka travel history.

Long Term Sri Lanka Visa Application Form
You can download and fill out the application form for a long-term Sri Lanka visa, known as “Form A”, from the official website of the Sri Lanka Immigration Department. The form you download must be in A4 size.
