If the accommodation fee to be paid during the education period in Austria exceeds 309.93 euros per month, the difference must be shown in the bank account for the Austrian student visa application.

Housewives, students or unemployed people who do not have a regular income must submit bank account statements belonging to their spouses or parents.
If the person who undertakes to cover the travel expenses to Austria is someone other than the applicant, a notarized undertaking must be attached to the application. Alternatively, an electronic undertaking declaration can be submitted for an Austrian visa .
