In order to register a business located in the United States in Bulgaria, business documents must be prepared and registration forms must be filled out. The business registration process is completed by paying the business registration fee and submitting a photograph of the applicant.

    Bulgarian citizens whose applications for business registration have been approved at the Non-Immigrant Visa Unit of the United States in Sofia are invited to an interview. The interview involves questions about the business they own or are partners in in the United States. Those whose registration has been approved can apply for an E2 visa.

    Can Turkish-Bulgarian Dual Citizens Apply for E2 Visa with Bulgarian Passport?

    Yes, Turkish-Bulgarian dual citizens can apply for an E2 visa with a Bulgarian passport. An E2 visa cannot be applied for to go to the USA with a Turkish passport.

    People with Turkish and Bulgarian citizenship have the right to apply for an E2 visa as a result of investing in an active company in the United States. Since they have dual Bulgarian citizenship, they have the same rights as Bulgarian citizens.
